'The Steep Learning Curve'   from Visual Counterpoint Room

I fear the learning curve is too steep for me.

I remain completely in the dark and photography is all about light.

The filter I bought has not enabled me to take better pictures because I do not understand how to use it properly.

I am probably too old and damaged to be able to learn to enjoy this fascinating hobby. I fear I shall only get more frustrated with my inability to capture the picture that I know is there.

I wish I had bought a camera years ago when I was still capable of learning to use it.

Only you knows how you wanted this photo to look ...but it is wonderous as it is.Sometimes the work to change a photo is done in a program like PSE or even free Picasa does alot.

The learning curve can be daunting at first, but you can use the full auto setting and let it take care of itself. I would be happy to help you with the use of the filters. Most are pretty straightforward, but a few requre a little understanding, but nothing you can't deal with. Don't get discouraged, and don't let the computer be the end all, be all of your photography. Create pictures for you, and for the fun that it provides. Remember, this is therapy, nothing more, nothing less.
